All parts are connected with pumps and pipelines through welding, and the whole machine is standing on a stainless-steel trolley. The central piece of this equipment is filter media which traps the solid particles, and other parts contribute equally infiltration process.

The equipment of earlier times consisted of a head and a follower with vertical plates packed in between. From this emerged, different filtration equipment that we see today. Manufactures make filtration equipment based on the requirement. So, it will differ in size and shape based on the purpose. Some of the qualities that will measure the efficiency and usability of the equipment are high filtration rate, lightweight, anti-corrosive, high dehydration rate of filter press and stable performance. It should also be able to handle quickly and show improved efficiency, refine moulding, energetic intensity and resistance to high pressure and temperature.

At the very beginning, the liquid flows in a filter media with high demand. The liquid goes from the high-pressure side to the low-pressure side of the filter means, leaving some stuff back. This process is achieved by using a pump. This system is used by enterprises when a decreased filtration time is required. After orders through filter media, the filtrate liquids come in a shell or cup and then goes to the outlet port of the device. In many methods, the plates are used as filter media. In the end, the plate has to be picked from solids. There is the various size of plates used for multiple types of liquid. It depends on the quality of the liquid and the thickness of the fluid.

The sparkler filter press includes horizontal plates in its house and as described above the filtration method is done by these plates. So, it is also named horizontal filter press machine. Another filter press machine zero hold up filter press in India has the same structure, but it works in a reverse manner as sparkler filter, and for that, it is called reverse flow zero holds up the machine. The last plate and frame filter press are different machines compare to sparkler filter, and zero holds up the filter.
